Award Recipients at the 2025 AHS Annual Meeting

The Agricultural History Society held its annual meeting in St. Paul, Minnesota from June 5-7, 2025. At the closing awards ceremony, the following award winners were honored:

• Graduate Workshop Prize: Yutong Zhan

• Gilbert C. Fite Dissertation Award: Kaitlin Simpson

• Henry A. Wallace Award for the best book on agricultural history outside the US: Navyug Gill

• Vernon Carstensen Memorial Award for the best article in Agricultural History: Hiromi Mizuno

• Wayne D. Rasmussen Award for the best article on agricultural history not published in Agricultural History: Shannon Stunden Bower

• James C. Giesen Teaching Excellence Award: Kendra Smith-Howard

• The Effland-Grim-Reid Award for public engagement in agricultural history: Centre for Agrarian History (CAG)

• Gladys L. Baker Award for lifetime achievement in the field of agricultural history: Deborah Fink

• Fellows of the Society: Joseph Anderson, Albert Way
