Award Recipients at the 2026 AHS Annual Meeting
The Agricultural History Society held its annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia from June 4-6, 2026. At the closing awards ceremony, the following award winners were honored:
Graduate Student Workshop Paper Award: Matthew Turetsky, “Finding the Local in Global Seed Banks: Andean Agriculture, Indigenous Diaries, and Everyday Acts of Conservation in Peru, 1984–1986”

Theodore Saloutos Memorial Award for the best book on agricultural history in the US: Joshua Nygren, The State of Conservation: Rural America and the Conservation-Industrial Complex since 1920
